Good to be home

Home...ahhh, sometimes there's nothing like it. We were finally able to come home last Thursday, both mom and baby Roman were given green lights and everyone is doing great. Vanessa had lots of fun with grandma being here and I'm sure will wonder when she's coming back come next week when we attempt to get back to routine around here (I say..attempt). Roman had a check up yesterday with the pediatrician and our boy has already surpassed his birth weight of 6.2lb and is now up to 6.5lb. Little milk-a-holic. Doc said he looks perfect (although we already thought the same) and we're not due back until his 2month check. Life with two has been great so far. It's a bit amazing how quickly you forget what having a newborn is like, even though it really wasn't that long ago. Vanessa seems to be adjusting to life as a big sister pretty well so far. She is ever so helpful in getting mommy a new diaper for Roman when nature calls on the little guy. She does still have those moments where she just stares at him and you wonder what her little mind is thinking ;-)
